Giveaway! 100% Wool Dryer Balls & Organic Body Butter

Summer CelebrationI’m so excited to be offering my third giveaway, and this time it’s in participation with Happy Mothering and Organic Mama through the Green Moms Network! As part of this fabulous event, each blogger within the group is each offering an eco-friendly giveaway worth $25 or more on their blogs! After you finish entering my giveaway, be sure to visit the other participating blogs, which are listed below the Rafflecopter form. It will go from June 21 to 29, 2012. Merry winning!

On my site you have the chance to win my own handcrafted items – four 100% wool dryer balls and 16 ounces of my homemade organic body butter, made from pure Shea Butter, Almond and Coconut Oil! I have made them myself so I can attest to their quality (smile). Read about the lotion here and the wool dryer balls here.

Wool dryer balls are a green alternative to dryer sheets, but better because they even help to reduce drying time. They last up to six years and have zero chemicals – just pure wool. This wool comes from a small sheep farm in northern Pennsylvania who have grass-fed, naturally raised sheep – so no chemicals on your clothes. Read more about the balls here.

Here’s a picture of the little ballers so you can see for yourself:

The organic body butter is pure heaven – I use it myself every day. It has a nice nutty scent, and really heals dry skin. Plus, you don’t have to worry about any chemicals because all the ingredients are 100% organic. Read more about this lotion here.

I love the idea of using the body butter on your hair as mousse. I have thick hair that can range from wavy to curly, depending on what I do to it, so I’m always looking for new ideas to try out. (It’s always interesting to see what happens – my hair has a mind of it’s own, and isn’t really wavy or totally curly – more of something in between.)

    • The best thing I ever did for my hair was to make my own from baking soda and water. Then I use apple cider vinegar conditioner and I have a filter for my shower that filters out hard water. Those 3 things combined have done WONDERS for my hair!

  25. My golden retreiver can remove bottle caps from plastic bottles .
