Hookin On Hump Day #4 – Link Party for the Fiber Arts

Hump Day has rolled around again…and this time it's a holiday for us Americans! Happy July 4th everyone and welcome to Hookin On Hump Day link party for the fiber arts! This party is for those of us into fiber arts like crochet, knit, sewing, felting, embroidery, cross-stitch, crafting with fabric, and anything else related to fabric and yarn! I will choose my favorites each week and feature you here on my blog and on Pinterest. Most of my followers are into crocheting, knitting, and sewing, so it's sure to drive traffic to your site to link up!

This past week I've been busy writing about green stuff, and not so much hookin, although lots of hookin has been going on behind the scenes as I plan to roll out a tutorial and pattern for a crocodile clutch purse! As for the green stuff, I created my own Homemade Organic Diaper Rash Cream that I'm so excited about because it really works! I also wrote about how we switched to all cloth napkins with no sewing.

My Merry Messy Life

Now, because today is July 4th, I will feature my favorite patriotic projects you submitted, but it is hard to do because I loved so many of the other projects that weren't patriotic! The most linked projects were:
  1. This super cute Summer Shell Dress Pattern by Busting Stitches
  2. This absolutely gorgeous Blissful Flowers Shawl from My Grandmotherly Ways (be sure to check her Ravelry link to see the whole shawl. It is gorgeous!)
  3. This excellent photo tutorial on how to do a Reverse Single Crochet by Handmade Honeybird

Here are my favorite patriotic projects!
I just loved this Patriotic T-Shirt Makeover from Love and Laundry. She gives an excellent photo tutorial that makes it so easy to make yourself!
And these Fourth of July Bandana Dress and matching shirt for mama from Wine and Glue are just adorable! What a great idea!
And last but not least to celebrate America is this very cheerful Fourth of July Patriotic Wreath from Wonky Wonderful. I love the combination of yarn, fabric and mod podged paper!
I will pin all of your projects on my Pinterest Board and write about you on my Facebook page. Here is your “I've Been Featured” button!

Now onto this week's party!
