Babywearing and Nursing Made Simple – The Lalabu Soothe Shirt & Giveaway!

Babywearing is such a smart and easier way to survive those first few months of your baby’s life, that “fourth” trimester as it’s so aptly named. But finding the right way to nurse and carry your baby around without having to deal with buckles, straps, and complications can be hard. That’s why I’m so excited about the Lalabu Soothe Shirt!

Babywearing Made Simple - The Lalabu Soothe Shirt

My dear friend, Ashley, just had a her first baby, a beautiful little girl. This is a mama who graduated from a prestigious university and has an MBA. She has had her sights set on being a successful business woman and has done just that! She loves her career, loves her job, and even though she wanted to have a baby, she was concerned she might miss work a lot while on maternity leave. Then boom! That magical thing happened when the baby was born – she was bitten by the baby bug. She is totally enamored with her baby girl, just enjoying every single moment. She thinks everything she does is cute, adorable – a miracle! I love watching her enjoy be a mama.

She has been lucky that Lucy is fairly easy as babies come – she travels well, will go easily from nursing, to a bottle to a pacifier, and she is sleeping well, maybe in part to Ashley keeping her on the schedule and routine she learned from the “Moms on Call – Basic Baby Care” book (where to buy). One thing that has really made her daughter’s first two months easier, was this fabulous shirt!

While I was hanging out with her, she easily nursed then placed her in the pouch to go to sleep. As you can see in the pictures, baby Lucy was quite cozy and happy! Once she woke up, Ashley was able to pass Lucy around so we could see her and it looked like she had a regular shirt on.

I only wish I’d had a Lalabu shirt my my three were itty bitty – it is genious! This video shows how it’s used.

What Exactly is the Soothe Shirt?

Babywearing is so healthy – it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that babies love and need to be held, especially during those first three months. It is crucial to their physical and emotional development and this shirt makes that task easier and more pleasant. They took the best part about being a mama kangaroo and turned it into a shirt!
