Ready To Have Your Own Essential Oils?

I Suggest Joining Young Living:

  1. as a Wholesale Member (sounds serious but it isn’t – just means you get the 24% discount, like a Costco or Sam’s membership)
  2. or as a Retail Customer via the Young Living website (no discounts available that way, though)

I highly recommend joining as a Wholesale Member, even if you’re a beginner. That’s because Wholesale Members get access to the Premium Starter Kit and they get an amazing 24% discount off every product that is offered! That’s it. No tricks or gimmicks.

Yes, I Want the Oils!

  • Click over to the sign-up page but keep this page open to help you.
  • Be sure the “Wholesale Member” option is checked so that you don’t end up paying retail prices.
  • Be sure the “sponsor ID” and “enroller id” say 1797486 (so that I can send you your goodies!)
  • If you do not feel comfortable putting in your social security number (this is only for tax purposes if you decide to turn this into a business) then you can get an EIN from the IRS in just a few seconds here and use that number instead (the IRS just needs to be able to connect some number with you for tax purposes).   They need a Social Security Number or
an EIN because if you make $600 or more per year selling Young Living products, you will receive a 1099 form in the mail (which is required by law). Young Living will never share this info with anyone.
  • Select which starter kit you want to get. My recommendation would be one of the Premium Starter Kits (and that’s the one that qualifies you to receive the educational package from me).
  • Go through the checkout process.
  • After you sign up, send an email to sara@mymerrymessylife.com letting us know that you signed up through this promotion.  Somewhere in the email, be sure to put the promotion code:  MERRYOILS.

  1. I have searched for safe and strong scented essential oils. The oils I have bought do not have much of any scent. Can you enlighten me? Thanks so much, and by the way, I really like your website.

    • Hi there! Thanks for the compliments. Yes, Young Living’s oils are among the best. I have never had oils work for illness until I started buying Young Living. They are so pure and potent. I highly recommend them! Just use my link above to get started and I’ll help you with any questions!

  2. Barbara Montag says:

I just ordered Panaway for the tendonitis in my thumb – looking forward to trying this new oil for me.

    • Hi Barabara, please let us know if this does work. I too have same issue with my left thumb. So painful it’s getting worse daily and really putting off surgery as long as possible.
      Thanks
      Lynn

  3. Essential oils are really miracle workers. Thanks for sharing this. Will definitely check this out.

  4. Love your comments here….if I sign up…do I need a website to put the ad on for people to click on or do I get a website of my own through the company….thank you in advance!

    • Hi Gina! If you’re wanting to just buy oils, you won’t need a website at all, but if you want to sell them as well as buy, YL does offer a website service you can use, but there are other free options for websites as well, plus you could start a Facebook group to advertise and more!

  5. Hi Sara,

I just want some clarification on joining as a member for Young Living. If I buy the starter kit will I have to commit to monthly kits being sent to me. You made it sound like I just had to spend $50 in a year to maintain the discount. Then when I read the fine print it said something about a minimum monthly order of 50 pv?(personal volume) per month, what is personal volume? I was not sure what that meant. Could you explain in a little more detail what to expect. I wanted to just order the starter kit to perhaps see if I even like the product before committing to a mandatory monthly order. Is that possible? Please let me know.

    Thank you,

    Theresa J

    • Hi Theresa! Okay, when you buy the starter kit you are not committing to anything. To keep your 24% discount after one year, you’d have to buy $50 the next year to maintain it. The other program you’re referring to is the Essential Rewards program. That’s where you commit to 50 PV a month (though it’s not a contract, you can cancel at anytime without penalty). Personal Volume is a value they add to their products. All essential oils and supplements are dollar for PV value – so an $11 bottle of lemon oil also has a PV of 11. But a $20 essential oils case, which is neither a supplement or oil (a consumable), has no PV value. Does that make sense? So, yes, absolutely, when you buy the kit you can try it all without committing to a single thing. You just get the nice added benefit of the 24% discount for a year AND all the gifts I will send you! Does that help?

  6. DeLena Cook says:

would love to join wholesale but want to get most for my $$$. Would love to have the aroma necklace too. Not keen on putting my S.S. number out in cyber space. Can you call me Wednesday? Sometime after 9 am would be great. Thanks so much! Let me know thru my email and I will send you my #. dizy4dawgs@aol.com

  7. Hi! I’m interested in joining wholesale. Are you offering the same incentives for November? I’m interested in getting the book as a reference. Is there an additional cost for being a wholesale member?

    • Ni Nikla! Yes, I am offering almost the same incentives. Instead of lemon, I’m giving away Orange oil and a turquoise bracelet. There is no additional cost for becoming a wholesale member – you automatically join when you buy one of the starter kits!

  8. I am trying to sign up For wholesale member but when I want to enter a password, it just says invalid. Can you help me?

  9. Sara I signed up almost 20 years ago and would order my oils usually from the company or go down to Mona, Utah and pick them up on the farm or go to Springville where the factory was at that time and get them. I have lost my number to get my oils wholesale so I order off Amazon but would like to get my discount once again. Do you know if I would be able to do that? Or how I would do that if I am considered inactive?
    Thanks for your help.
    Deb

    • Hi Deb! Love that you’ve been using Young Living for so long! Okay, you would need to sign up again as you go inactive after a year of not buying anything (you can still buy, of course, just no discount). So, if you sign up through my link, you’d need to purchase one of the starter kits to become a member again and get the 25% discount. I suggest the Premium Starter Kit as it has 11 oils AND a diffuser for either $150 or $160 (the $160 has a slightly bigger diffuser). Does that help?

  10. Hi, I’m from South Africa, do u have any supplier’s, stockists here in St.

  11. Hi! I am excited to order a starter kit for Christmas. I was just wondering about the diffuser. I saw a friend of mine that uses it as a nightlight in her nurser as well. Is the diffuser that you are offering also a light ? That would be great ! Also. I may need to order tomorrow (my mom is ordering). What are the December specials that you’ll be offering if we order the starter kit ?

    Thanks !!

    • Hi Lindsey! I have posted my December specials in this post now – I’m giving away a bottle of Orange oil, a leather aromatherapy bracelet, and 2 roll-on bottles, along with the guidebook – a lot! The diffuser does have a very pretty light that makes a great nightlight – my kids like it. You can turn it off, though, if you want to. I love the diffuser, it looks like a flower!

  12. I want to join your team, but all I can get right now is the $40.00 kit. Will I b able to order the premium kit later?

  13. June Barnett says:

What is ylang ylang good for? It smells so good!

  14. I’m interested in the large wholesale kit. Can you email me with more details for the Dec. special? Thanks.

  15. I just ordered my premium starter kit and I cannot wait to get into your guidebook and get started with oils! Thanks so much!

  16. hi,
just wondering if there are any specials for January? i’m thinking about ordering a kit!
    thanks

  17. Sarah I’m wondering if there is a membership fee to become a member. What is the total with tax and shipping for a starter kit as a member?

Also, I tried to order a starter kit today and couldn’t make it past the tax id number. I’m assuming this is my social security number, but when I typed it in, a red box came up saying, “sorry that number is already taken.” This could be because I started to order a kit a few months ago but didn’t go through with it. Now my number is in the system but I can’t use it. Any suggestions?

  19. hi,
just wondering if there are any specials for June i’m thinking about ordering a kit!
    thanks

    • Yes, for sure! I thought I had updated the graphic? My special is a reference guidebook, a $25 amazon gift card, several pamphlets on how to use oils for babies/children and first aid, and a leather aromatherapy bracelet! A lot of goodies!

  20. June 10, 2015 at 8:57 pm
I don’t want to write my social security number on web , can I call you to give or what do I do ?
Can I have your number or email to give as I want to order the kit and sigh up to be a member . Thanks

  21. I have 2 question. We 4 parrots is it safe to use the diffuser with oils around them? Since they have air sacks and not lungs. Second question,my husband has no sense of smell and wonder if this can benefit him too?

  23. Hi,

I was just looking at YL website and they don’t own their own farms. They say their suppliers must agree to a code. Not the same as owning their own farms.

I also don’t see in their info anything about the oils being organic.

    • They own 9 of their own farms and manage all the rest – every single step of the process is approved along the way on the coop farms. The difference between that and other companies is that many other companies do not own a single farm, nor do they control the whole process on the coop farms. They cannot say “certified organic” because they spray their crops with leftover essential oils, which is not the “certified organic” process that is required by law to obtain that certification. I’ve been to the lavender farm in Mona, Utah and it is a sight to behold! I watched as the workers pulled weeds by hand and they showed us how they spray essential oils on the plants instead of pesticides and herbicides.

  24. Dear Sara,

Great website, full of great info. If I have bought a kit how would I join your team? I would like to get started this month, I am connecting with how you are approaching essential oils from the green living to the great Blogs.
Can you tell me how I would go about getting started?

    Blessings to you!

    ~ Patricia

  25. Maria In Mass says:

    Hi,

My name is Maria, I just turned 50, and I’m very interested in natural recipes, essential oils, ect. I am very interested in purchasing a kit, but concerned about the price. Are there any specials going on right now? Also, I am a newbie and will probably need some assistance learning how to use everything. I have a couple of health issues and looking for some natural solutions. I have severe asthma. I heard essential oils could possibly help me. I also have very thick, long wavy hair like you, but a very sensitive, oily, angry scalp (seborheic dermatis, which is prone to folliculitis and scalp acne – fun times!). Could essential oils help me with the scalp? I get so frustrated because I’ve been told I have “nice hair” but my scalp has given me problems since I was a teenager. I have no idea how to take care of it – oily scalp, but on the dry side hair. Do you know of any natural deep conditioners that could help? I’d love some recipes. I am also concerned because my skin and scalp are oily, but very sensitive. I can’t use a lot of stuff and have to be very careful. One time I thought I was doing this “great” thing and applied tea tree spray to my scalp and it made my scalp worse (I am not sure if I made it too strong). See? I need some assistance. Love your pages about your how you take care of your hair. I do comb out my hair with a plastic comb in the shower (How else am I supposed to detangle it?) and brush it out with a vent brush when it is dry. I was told by a co-worker with wavy hair I shouldn’t use a brush at all. Is this true? There is so much conflicting information out there. My concern lately is my hair is turning salt and pepper and becoming a bit more dry and fragile and I think because I’m a shampoo junkie (trying to find the right products for my hair my whole life), my scalp has become even more sensitive. I’d also be interested in hearing from anybody who bought kits and found solutions to these two issues with essential oils. Thanks! Hope to hear from you!

    • Hi Maria!! Thanks for leaving me a message. So sorry you have such trouble with your scalp – that is a diet-related issue and essential oils can be very soothing for skin issues like that, but to heal it, it’ll need to be done from the inside out. I’d remove dairy and gluten from your diet for a while to help the inflammation in your body calm down first. I also have very curly hair and have quite a few posts on that here on the blog – homemade shampoo, how to take care of your curls, and homemade frizz spray.
As for the essential oils, it’s possible the ones you were using weren’t pure – the FDA only requires that 5% of an essential oil be actual essential oil for a company to call it “Pure, Therapeutic Grade.” Crazy, right? I used to use other brands and they were really disappointing. I gave up on oils until I found Young Living. There is a special this month that if you purchased one of the Premium Starter Kits, you’ll get a Thieves Laundry soap! It lasts my family of 5 about 1-2 months – it’s very concentrated and totally non-toxic. Also, I’ll plug you into my exclusive Facebook group for new members and send you a lot of reference materials by mail that will teach you how to use the oils. I offer a lot of support :). I hope you’ll decide to join the team!

  26. Hi,I’m Stephanie from Nigeria.how can I order from you?
    Thanks

  27. If I sign up with YL with a membership through you, am I required to “sell”? Also, is YL organic?

  28. Betsi Bentz says:

I have many friends using essential oils and I have dabbled in it. What is the difference in the different brands . I’ve heard some can be taken by mouth, some can’t. I have one friend that swears by DoTerra, another that like you likes Young Living, and yet another that uses Neroli. Also how long do essential oils last, is there a shelf life? I enjoy your website and blog, but need some clarity before I get started. Thank you.

  29. Hi are u offering any specials now if I sign up wholesale? Thanks

    • Hi Diane! If you purchase one of the Premium Starter Kits, I have a special where I offer cute label toppers for your oils (makes them easy to organize and find), a Chemical Free Home book, and a Welcome Book. Both of those books contain recipes and very helpful information to help you get started!

Do you have any health issues you’re trying to resolve? It’s the best $160 you’ll ever spend, trust me. We haven’t been to the doctor but ONE time in 3 years and I have 4 kids! We are rarely sick – we stay well and the oils help with even emotions, getting rid of toxins in the home, and so much more. They are amazing!
