DIY Natural Castile Soap Bar Recipe
DIY natural Castile soap bar recipe using melt and pour Castile soap base, essential oils like Eucalyptus and Lemongrass, and moisturizing oils. It can be used as a face bar soap or a body bar soap.

- 2 lbs. Castile Soap Melt and Pour Base
- 25 drops of Essential Oils – (I used Lemon and Eucalyptus for a refreshing morning blend, but any combo of essential oils that you enjoy will work)
- 1 tbsp. Vitamin E oil & jojoba oil blend, or jojoba oil or any moisturizing oil you like
- Optional – 1-2 tbsp. of flower petals – Lavender, Rose, or get this dried flower petals variety pack
- Optional – make it pink with 1–2 tbsp. Pink Kaolin Clay
- Rose Flower Silicone Mold
Instructions
Cut up the soap into square chunks and put it in a microwave safe dish. One pound of soap fits in a two cup glass pyrex measuring cup. Cook on 30 second intervals, stirring it each time until its melted. For me, it took 5 times. After it is done, add the oils and the optional flower petals and/or pink clay. Stir well. Then add the essential oils. Working quickly, pour it into the soap molds and let dry for an hour or more.
