Easy, Healing Bone Broth

Bone broth is extremely simple to make yet packs a big nutrient punch. It also allows you to use the entire animal, eliminating wastefulness and saving you money.


  • 12 pounds of bones from healthy animals – roasted
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 medium carrots chopped
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic whole
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns or ¼ tsp ground pepper
  • ¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Filtered water


  1. Add bones to a large slow cooker.
  2. Add other ingredients.
  3. Top off with filtered water
  4. Simmer on low for 24-72 hours
  5. Strain into mason jars
  6. Enjoy!


This same method and recipe can be used to make any type of broth such as pork or beef. You’ll never want to buy store bought broth again!
