Homemade Face Powder Foundation – All Natural
A simple recipe for making loose face powder foundation.
Ingredients

- 2 tbsp of cornstarch or arrowroot powder
- Start with 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg or cocoa powder, add more as necessary
- 5 drops of an essential oil that’s great for skin:
- Aging, Mature Skin – use Frankincense, Myrrh or Lavender
- Oily Skin that’s prone to breakouts – Melrose blend, Rosemary, Tea Tree, or Geranium
- Healthy, younger skin – Lavender, Joy blend, Gentle Baby blend, or Rosemary
- For pressed powder – slowly add drops of a carrier oil like jojoba or sweet almond and stir until it gets to the consistency you want
- Optional – a few drops of Vegetable Glycerine to keep it from sticking to eyebrows and eyelashes
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well combined.
- Add more tint (cinnamon, nutmeg or cocoa powder) until you reach your desired color.
