Hope you all had fun celebrating Valentine’s Day last week! I know we’ve enjoyed our share of chocolate around here. I’ve been really busy crocheting to get ready for our third baby, who’s due in just a week (eek!) and have started to share those patterns here on the site (crochet baby cocoon). Tamara from Moogly is back again to co-host Hookin On Hump Day! Yay! Having her last week got more views for your projects so I’m excited she is going to be my permanent partner in hookin crime.
While you’re here, make sure you enter my HUGE yarn giveaway I’ve got going on from Red Heart Yarns! You can win a $100 prize package AND and $150 grand prize package from them! WOW!
So, let’s get on with it!

#1 – Most Clicked Link was Crocodile Stitch Shawl by Shelia of Creative Design
This is just stunning, but isn’t for a beginner. You can tell – I imagine it took a lot of time to finish because the crocodile stitch doesn’t work up quickly. Beautiful job!

Now onto this week’s party! Here are a few simple rules:
- Please link your post back to one of the hostesses - My Merry Messy Life or Moogly Blog or grab the party button here. I’d also really appreciate if you’d follow me on one of my social media links (see in the header), and I will happily follow back (just leave me a comment that you’re following me from here)!
- Please visit at least one other link and leave a comment on their post so we can really support each other! No linking and running allowed!
- Please remember to link to your actual project URL and not your homepage URL.
- Please, no Etsy stores or other link parties. Just blog posts to your actual projects.

Congrats on new baby! I was due 3/2, but my dr. Induced early. My son was born 2/12….we are enjoying him! My 3 yr old is super excited to be a big sis! Congrats again….post pics when new baby arrives.
Thank you so much! He’s not quite here yet, but due in just 5 days. I do hope it’ll be soon, but they always come when they’re ready which is the best thing. Congrats on your son, too!!
Best wishes for you and your family, Sara! Have a happy week
Ps.: Love the featured bunnies. Thank you for hosting!

Thanks so much, Hanni! Always happy to have you in this party.
I had my third baby on Christmas Eve and it’s been hard to find time to crochet. She’s not feeding well so I have to pump and supplement
…. all that takes a LOT of time. My thyroid disorder went haywire after delivery so I’ve had a lot of endocrinologist appointments too. But my baby is healthy and that is what matters. The yarn will wait!
Oh, so sorry to hear that. Having a new baby is definitely hard work and you’re a trooper for hanging in there. I do hope things get better for you so you can have some time to yourself to crochet!
Hi Sara!
Teaming up with Tamara is a fab idea! Thank you both for hosting!
