I Made this for My Daughter's Birthday
My oldest daughter Nonny just had a birthday. As usual, we asked her what she would like from us for her birthday. Her usual requests are always silly – last year it was a cheeseburger and a princess crown! This year she asked to be a “fastest racer princess.” I love her imagination.
- Racing Jacket – Check
- Tutu – Check
- Custom Shirt – Check
- New Hair Bow – Check
I thought I was done, but apparently all “fastest racing princesses” need a purse. Oops, mommy had no clue that was a requirement!
So, mommy did what she knows best. She design a clutch purse crochet pattern and quickly made it just in time for her birthday. Nanny really likes it! She helped me with the photos, so the poses may be a little bit silly, but I know you won't mind (smile).
The pattern has both half double crochet and single crochet. It also utilizes the posts to make it a little interesting.
