How To Ditch Paper Products and Go Paper Free
Here are my easy and frugal methods of going paper-free – a little way to save trees, money and our planet! You can learn how to ditch paper towels, toilet paper, disposable diapers, paper napkins and more and make your own at home using cloth you may already have.
One way I have chosen to life a more green lifestyle (it's a journey – not 100% there yet!), is by ditching paper products from around the house. It is not easy to do as we were so accustomed to the convenience of paper, but it's really starting to take a toll on our planet and I don't like throwing things away. I used to think people like my depression-era great-grandmas who would keep things like aluminum foil, plastic baggies and yogurt containers to reuse them were so weird and old-fashioned, and now I've turned into them! I realize now they totally had the right idea and I saw the err of my wasteful ways.
This is an easy way to also start living a more green, earth-friendly lifestyle. I found that once I eliminated one paper product, it became easier and easier to eliminate more! So start small, educate yourself, and try to take on one thing at a time. Before you know it, you'll be making your great-grandma proud, too!
