Free Crochet Fall Bunting Pattern
Here's an adorable free crochet fall bunting pattern you can make to decorate your house for the fall!

Autumn is Here!
Fall has finally come in Georgia and I actually like to be outside again! It's so nice – there's a little nip in the air in the mornings and evenings and it stays in the seventies all day. So, it's time to start decorating. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be building my mantel (Well, it's my mom's mantel, actually. We're living with her as we just moved back to Georgia and are saving up for another house!) with crochet projects layer by layer, starting with this precious bunting! Next up – a pumpkin and summer squash pattern to decorate the top.
I found this pattern at a lovely crochet site, Crochet Again. It's a granny triangle and once you get the hang of it, it's easy to make. I had some trouble at first, but that's probably because I was trying to watch “So You Think You Can Dance” at the same time! But Sue offers an excellent diagram that helps if you like those.
I used all Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Carrot, Lemon, Light Sage, Medium Purple and Coffee.

I used fall colors and changed up the pattern a bit as you can see in the picture below. The purple triangle follows the pattern exactly, but the one with the green edge does not. I finished off round 3 and attached row 4 with a slip stitch and a chain 2, then continued with the rest of the pattern. I think on the next bunting, I will make fewer chains to join the triangles. I'd like to see the triangles closer together, but I'm very happy with how this turned out!
I Love the Scalloped Edging
I absolutely love the scalloped edging! That's what made me choose this pattern and I'm so glad I did. I'll be making one for each season.
Yarn Colors to Make this Adorable Set
To make these partners, I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn. This is a stiffer yarn that I don't really recommend for hats or scarves because it's a bit scratchy. But it's perfect for decor because it's affordable, stiff and strong. Here are the colors I used:
