Health Benefits of Cinnamon Essential Oil

You have the option of using essential oils in this healthy pumpkin spice creamer recipe to replace the spices. As you might already know, essential oils have many therapeutic properties that help our bodies to heal themselves!

Cinnamon Bark Vitalityâ„¢ essential oil has a warm, spicy flavor that complements a variety of classic culinary treats and drinks. Cinnamon Bark Vitality is not only great for flavoring dishes, but you can also take it as a dietary supplement. You can find it in Thieves essential oil blend and Inner Defenseâ„¢. Inner Defense is my personal favorite supplement to keep me healthy and well. I take it at the first sign of illness with great success!

Cinnamon Bark Vitality’s warm taste and nostalgic notes bring a spicy addition to your favorite dishes. By using Cinnamon Bark Vitality as a dietary supplement, you can help support healthy digestive and immune systems.

Are Essential Oils Safe for Consumption?

Essential oil users love to debate the safety of essential oil consumption! I personally have never had an issue with it, as long as I use oils from a company I trust.

Not all essential oils are safe for consumption. To avoid confusion, Young Living Essential Oils labels the essential oils that are safe for internal consumption with a white label. I buy all of my essential oils, supplements, and diffusers from Young Living. I can personally recommend their products!

Some essential oil companies label their oils for topical use only, so for sure do not use those oils internally. Those oils may very well contain fillers that are dangerous for your health.

Instructions

In small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together heavy cream, pumpkin, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice. Add cinnamon sticks if you're using those. Bring to boil, whisking occasionally, for 1 minute, then remove from heat and let creamer cool in pan 5 minutes before using in your coffee. If you have an immersion blender, you could also use that to blend the creamer really well. Add the essential oils once it cools to preserve their health benefits. Add whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if you'd like that, too.

Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 1 week. Shake well before using.

Notes

You can use any milk you like. To make it dairy free, try almond, coconut, cashew or oat milk. My favorite for this recipe is coconut milk because I really like the flavor and the healthy fat content.

2 tbsp. of Maple Syrup makes it slightly sweet. If you want it to be sweeter, you might want to add another 1/2 tbsp. or more.
